Juventus and Pafos meet in Turin on Wednesday night with both teams fighting to avoid elimination from the Champions League.
The Italian giants have endured a challenging Champions League campaign and have taken just six points from their opening five games.
After opening the league phase with a four-game winless run, Juventus won an entertaining clash at Bodo/Glimt to keep alive their hopes of progress. It’s been the theme of an inconsistent season for Juventus, who sit seventh in Serie A. The Bianconeri lost at Napoli at the weekend and are already eight points behind leaders AC Milan.
Next up are debutants Pafos, who have proven stubborn opposition in their first Champions League campaign. The Cypriot champions also have six points, having lost just one of their first five games in the competition.
Luciano Spalletti will again be without the services of Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian striker, who is the club’s joint-leading scorer with six goals in all competitions, has been ruled out until the new year with an adductor injury.
Lois Openda or Jonathan David could lead the line, despite Allegri experimenting with Kenan Yildiz at centre-forward during the weekend defeat at Napoli.
In terms of other absentees, defensive trio Federico Gatti, Bremer and Daniele Rugani are also all unavailable to the Old Lady.
The Champions League fixture will be played on Wednesday, 10 December 2025. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm GMT.
