The board at Serie A giants Juventus are ‘crunching the numbers’, regarding the potential signing of Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing La Gazzetta dello Sport, who have early this week provided an insight into the situation.
Veteran goalscorer Lewandowski is of course currently primed to depart Barcelona at the season’s end.
Set to turn 38 later this year, the Polish international has not been offered a renewal to his expiring contract terms.
The aforementioned Juventus, in turn, are understood to have earmarked Lewandowski as a leading target to reinforce their own frontline.
So much so that, according to the latest reports, the Old Lady have begun drawing up a plan to finance the former Bayern Munich man’s wages.
As per MD:
‘Juventus intend to renew Dusan Vlahovic’s contract to partner him with Lewandowski up front and will also try to bring back Randal Kolo Muani.’
To finance as much, Juve are hopeful of offloading the likes of Arkadiusz Milik, Jonathan David, and Loïs Openda.
