FC Bayern’s squad planning for the coming season is becoming increasingly concrete, with the question of a suitable backup for Harry Kane once again taking center stage. One name in particular could become concrete
Reports that Dusan Vlahovic could become an issue for FC Bayern in the summer were already doing the rounds at the beginning of April, and now Sky Italia is following suit. According to transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio, the Serbian attacker could become an option for Munich in the summer – provided he does not extend his contract with Juventus
The 25-year-old is only under contract with the Italians until the end of the season and if no agreement is reached, Vlahovic would be available on a free transfer. In addition to the German record champions, AC Milan are also reportedly interested in the centre-forward
Munich are already looking closely at possible solutions for their attack, partly due to the situation of Nicolas Jackson, who is unlikely to be signed permanently after his loan spell. The club are therefore looking for a replacement who can act as a backup for Harry Kane

However, the current season has not gone smoothly for the attacker so far. In 18 competitive games, he has scored six goals and provided two assists. An adductor injury caused him to miss several games in the meantime and he never really found a consistent rhythm. He is also currently out again with calf problems
Talks between Juventus and the striker are still considered to be complicated. It has previously been reported that financial differences in particular are playing a role. Vlahovic’s salary could also be a sticking point in a potential transfer to FC Bayern.
