Harry Kane scored his 100th goal for Bayern Munich on Friday, finding the net twice against Werder Bremen and writing his name into the record books.
The England captain struck twice in a 4-0 win, helping Bayern maintain their perfect start to the Bundesliga campaign after five matches.
Reaching the milestone in just 104 appearances, Kane is now the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club in Europe’s top five leagues.
That puts him ahead of Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo, who both needed 105 matches to reach the same landmark at Manchester City and Real Madrid.
At 32, he’s in blistering form. Ten goals in five league matches and 15 in eight across all competitions show just how sharp he is right now.
The big question is whether he can keep it going long enough to beat Robert Lewandowski’s single-season Bundesliga record of 41 goals, set in 2020/21.
