Kane shrugs off Barcelona talk and reiterates Bayern happiness | OneFootball

Harry Kane has played down links to Barcelona, insisting he is happy and fully focused at Bayern Munich.

According to BuLi News, discussion around the England captain’s future grew after Barcelona presidential candidate Xavier Vilajoana named Kane as his preferred target, called him a stylistic fit and said initial contact formed part of a longer-term plan.

“I haven't heard anything about that. My father and brother are taking care of these things, but they haven't told me anything,” Kane said.

“As I've already said, I'm very happy here at Bayern. My focus is on this season and here at Bayern. I'll take that as a compliment,” he added with a laugh.

The remarks suggest the Barcelona talk is external rather than driven by the player.

The 32-year-old has been pivotal since joining from Tottenham Hotspur and is under contract with the Bundesliga champions until 2027.
