The Daily Mail reports that Everton and Manchester United have tabled contract offers for Karl Darlow, with Leeds also putting terms forward.
The 35-year-old ended 2025/26 as Leeds’ first choice after replacing £16 million summer signing Lucas Perri in January. He started 22 Premier League games and kept five clean sheets. He left this week when his deal expired, with no new agreement in place.
The Welsh international has also been linked with Tottenham, who eventually signed Martin Dubravka after his Burnley free-agent exit. Any move to Everton or United would likely be as back-up to Jordan Pickford and Senne Lammens.
Regular minutes might be easier to find at Leeds, given he finished the campaign as Daniel Farke’s preferred option. He would be a low-risk, homegrown squad addition for most clubs, with no fee involved.
Leeds’ goalkeeping picture remains unsettled. Perri’s debut season left questions, Illan Meslier has departed and emerged as a potential back-up for Arsenal, and Alex Cairns is also out of contract but has reportedly agreed fresh terms.
