On loan from Chelsea at Strasbourg, Kendry Paez is leaving France to join River Plate. The move frees up one Chelsea loan slot at the Ligue 1 club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, his Strasbourg loan has been cut short. Chelsea have sent the Ecuador winger to River Plate on loan until December 2026.

The 18-year-old Ecuador international arrived in Alsace amid scepticism and has started only once in Ligue 1 since 26 September.
He scored one goal in 718 minutes in all competitions and faced criticism over his professionalism off the pitch.
Strasbourg have also terminated the loan of forward Milos Lukovic from Las Palmas, sending him to Preston North End in the Championship until June.
