Key Barcelona star limps off with injury vs Slavia Praha | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Wednesday been dealt a potentially significant blow on the personnel front.

This comes after midfield standout Pedri was forced into a premature departure from the club’s latest outing.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the continent, having made the trip to Czechia for a Champions League meeting with Slavia Praha.

Fresh off a surprise weekend defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad, the Blaugrana headed into proceedings desperate for a bounce-back result.

And as things stand, this is precisely what Hansi Flick’s troops find themselves headed towards, leading Slavia by three goals to two.

As alluded to above, though, on an otherwise positive night’s work to date, Barca have also been dealt a blow.

On the hour mark on a cold night in Prague, Pedri pulled up with what appeared to be a hamstring problem.

The Spanish international, from here, limped out of proceedings, ahead of an upcoming round of medical tests, and a nervous wait for all of a Blaugrana persuasion.
