A leading member of the attacking ranks at Osasuna will be forced to sit out the club’s upcoming fixture against Barcelona.
That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Bryan Zaragoza as the player in question.
Wide-man Zaragoza was for his part in from the off once more last weekend, as Osasuna played host to Getafe in a La Liga clash.
En route to an eventual 2-1 defeat for his side, however, the on-loan Bayern Munich man was dealt a personal blow.
This came in the form of an injury, the extent of which has today been confirmed.
As per a report from AS, after Zaragoza was sent home from the Spanish national team camp following tests carried out by La Roja’s medical staff:
‘The player is already working to recover from his muscle injury, and his sideline is estimated to be around three weeks.’
As much would mean the talented attacker being unavailable for selection for Osasuna’s rescheduled upcoming meeting with Hansi Flick’s Barcelona, pencilled in for March 27th.
