Kiat Lim arrives in Valencia for club meetings | OneFootball

Kiat Lim is in Valencia on his first visit of 2026. He will stay in the city for a few days.

Radio Esport reports that he plans to oversee progress at the Nou Mestalla. He will hold meetings with the club's stadium project team alongside FCC, and primarily with the commercial operations department.

During his stay he will also meet Ron Gourlay and Carlos Corberán. The trio dined together in December, when the CEO of Football and the head coach pressed the need to strengthen in January with Sadiq, Guido, Unai and Renzo Saravia.

There are numerous matters to advance, led by renewals for Dimitrievski, Cömert, Thierry and Guido. Situations such as those of Unai Núñez and Ramazani are also on the table, although their loans carry no purchase option.

Beyond individual names, Lim is expected to define the economic roadmap. Gourlay wants clarity on the margin he will have to work with.

His return comes one year after he was appointed club president on three March. It arrives, surely, at the team's best spell of the season, with six wins in the last 10 matches pulling them away from the drop and to within three of Europe.

At the most recent Shareholders' Meeting, amid calls for the coach's dismissal, Lim made clear his firm backing for Corberán to bring stability. That backing was reflected in January's business, and planning for next season now begins.
