Konyaspor sink Galatasaray as 12-match drought ends

Konyaspor 2-0 Galatasaray on Saturday at Medaş Konya Büyükşehir Stadyumu ended the hosts' 12-match Süper Lig winless run and lifted them from 14th to 13th.
In the 49th minute, Leroy Sané had a goal ruled out after a VAR review as Aslan pushed after the restart.
Adil Demirbag broke through from close range after a corner, turning in Ugurcan Yazgili's pass (75.).
Substitutes then combined as Enis Bardhi set up Blaz Kramer to finish high from close range (81.).
Bahadir Güngördü kept Konyaspor in control with smart saves from Sacha Boey after a through ball, then from Gabriel Sara as Aslan pressed.
Aslan saw 61.4% possession but produced six attempts and two on target. Konyaspor registered nine attempts, with both efforts on target finding the net.
Aslan remain top on 55 points. Next, Konyaspor visit Başakşehir in the league. Aslan visit Juventus in the Champions League next.
