Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Saturday secured for himself another piece of club history.

This comes after the Frenchman found the net for the latest occasion.

Real Madrid marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Levante to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.

Los Blancos headed into the matchup desperate for a return to winning ways, fresh off back-to-back defeats in the Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey.

And when all was said and done, this is precisely what the day’s hosts managed, emerging on the right side of a 2-0 result.

And the aforementioned Mbappé played a starring role in as much, opening the game’s scoring from the penalty spot during the 2nd-half.

As much means that the former PSG standout has now found the net 30 times in all competitions this season.

Even more significantly, though, just a year-and-a-half into his stint in Spain, Mbappé has hit the 50-goal mark in La Liga.

As per statisticians Opta:

‘Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé has scored 50 goals in 53 La Liga games, making him the second fastest player to reach this milestone in the competition in the 21st century, after Cristiano Ronaldo.’
