Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Wednesday continued to etch his name indellibly into the club’s history books.

This comes after the Frenchman added to his season tally courtesy of another brilliant individual effort.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, after welcoming RCD Mallorca to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.

A heavily altered Blancos XI fell behind inside the opening quarter of an hour on the evening, owing to a strike on the part of the visitors’ Martin Valjent.

The aforementioned Kylian Mbappé, though, has since dragged Real Madrid back on level terms.

After dancing his way into the Mallorca penalty area courtesy of a wonderful jinking run, the 26-year-old directed an unerring finish home at the near post.

And as alluded to above, in the process, Mbappé made fresh history.

Having already secured his status as the player with the most-ever goals in their debut season at Real Madrid, the frontman has now become the first player to ever hit the 40-goal mark in their first year at the Santiago Bernabéu.
