Kylian Mbappé has sent a bailiff to Paris Saint-Germain to demand 5.9 million euros still outstanding, with the club now facing an eight day deadline before a possible seizure by the courts.

According to L'Équipe, a Paris labour court ordered PSG at the end of December 2025 to pay 60.9 million euros, of which 55 million has been settled, leaving around 5.9 million linked to paid leave and interest. The bailiff delivered a formal payment demand at the club’s headquarters on Friday.

The ruling was subject to provisional enforcement, meaning payment is required even if an appeal is lodged. If PSG does not comply within eight days, Mbappé’s lawyers can seek to seize the amount directly from the club’s accounts.

PSG can appeal until 19 February. The day after the decision, that did not appear the likely course. The Professional Football League had already found in Mbappé’s favour on 25 October 2024, and the club was ordered to publish the full ruling on its homepage for one month, which it had not done on Friday.

Mbappé’s lawyer Frédérique Cassereau declined to comment on the bailiff and suggested the club should answer, while hinting further action would follow if the decision is not fully carried out. PSG said it will execute the labour court judgment while reserving the right to appeal, insisted all salaries and bonuses have been paid, and said talks are ongoing with the player’s camp over remaining sums. Several sources dispute that last point.
