An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Wednesday evening come to the fore online.

And the news will no doubt be met with relief on the part of those of a Blancos persuasion.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action later tonight, in a crunch Champions League showdown with city rivals Atlético.

The name of the aforementioned Mbappé had taken its place front and centre in the media chatter in the days leading up to the clash.

This comes after it was revealed that the Frenchman had been forced to sit out training, owing to an injury problem suffered against Rayo Vallecano over the weekend.

Mbappé’s status to feature in the Madrid Derby was, in turn, thrown up in the air.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from Spain’s capital this evening is anything to go by, then those of a Real persuasion need not fret.

As per a report from Blancos insider Miguel Ángel Díaz of COPE:

‘Kylian Mbappé will start tonight, despite his discomfort.’
