La Real begin their 2026-27 pre-season at Zubieta on Saturday under Matarazzo, with physical tests before Sunday’s first open training session.

According to AS, Matarazzo starts with 28 players combining first-team players with 12 promoted from the B team: Remiro, Marrero, Rupérez, Odriozola, Aihen, Javi López, Zubeldia, Pacheco, Gorrotxa, Soler, Zakharyan, Goti, Marín, Barrene, Karrika, Carlos Fernández, Fraga, Kita, Beitia, Balda, Lebarbier, Aguirre, Mikel Rodríguez, Carbonell, Dani Díaz, Ochieng, Marchal and Carrera.

From Monday, the internationals who did not play at the World Cup, and served as sparring in Las Rozas, will rejoin: Jon Martín, Sergio Gómez and Beñat Turrientes.

Jon Mikel Aramburu, Yangel Herrera and Orri Oskarsson are due to link up on Thursday. There will be a longer wait for World Cup players Kubo, Sucic, Guedes and Oyarzabal.

With a big crowd expected for Sunday’s opening session, vehicle access will be via the upper Zubieta entrance, Z7, while the lower entrance will be for pedestrians only.
