Haritz Elorza, founder of Boise’s official Real Sociedad supporters’ club Txuriurdin Amerikanuak, will be at La Cartuja for the final, while Riyadh-based Faris Al-Hathloul is still trying to travel without a ticket. According to Diario Vasco, both nurture the txuri-urdin passion far from Gipuzkoa.

Arrasate-born Elorza set up the club in 2024 to unite scattered followers he had seen around the United States. It now counts about 50 members across the Americas and marks big occasions, with visits from Xabi Prieto and Zuhaitz Gurrutxaga among its highlights.

A health scare 20 years ago briefly cost Elorza his sight, he recovered, then began a round-the-world journey in 2009 before settling in the United States. He also recalls prioritising the 2021 La Cartuja final while working on a farm.

Elorza will attend with his wife, the club secretary, alongside two or three others, not as an official delegation. Their itinerary, via Atlanta, Madrid, Paris and Minneapolis, totals about 20 hours.

On the other side of the world, Al-Hathloul follows La Real from Riyadh, a regular at Supercopa fixtures staged in Saudi Arabia, and plans to see the team in Qatar next year. His trip to Seville depends on a brother covering care for his elderly father, and he would travel without a ticket.

If he stays, he will watch with friends and hand out shirts from a large collection that includes gifts from Adnan Januzaj and Mikel González. A supporter for 23 years since the runners-up season at age eight, he feels confident yet nervous, says they are playing two finals, and credits improvement since Matarazzo arrived after early-season struggles and a spell in the drop zone.
