LAFC take on Toronto FC this Wednesday, October 8, at BMO Stadium, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. PT / 10:30 p.m. ET. While the Black & Gold have clinched a playoff berth, Toronto is already eliminated — but both teams have roster questions heading into the final stretch.
LAFC currently sit 4th in the Western Conference with 56 points and are riding a five-game win streak, but will be missing several key attackers due to the FIFA international break. Coach Steve Cherundolo will look to rotate his powerful offense while maintaining momentum.
Toronto, meanwhile, are 12th in the East with 29 points, using these final games as a preview for a likely roster overhaul in 2026. The game marks the return of former LAFC player Jose Cifuentes to LA, following a transfer to Cruzeiro in Brazil. Another arrival, Djordje Mihailovic has been excellent against LAFC and could pose issues for the Black and Gold defenders.
