Lamine Yamal labels Barcelona teammate as ‘best in the world’ in his role | OneFootball

Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has taken to social media, to sing the praises of a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad.

Barca, of course, marked their return to action on Saturday night, playing host to Athletic Club in a La Liga clash.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged 2-1 victors, with Lamine, again, playing a pivotal role courtesy of a moment of magic to open the game’s scoring.

At the other end of the pitch, though, it was another member of the hosts’ ranks who was completely nullifying the leading threat posed by Athletic Club.

Amid another stellar all-round showing, Jules Koundé pocketed Barcelona transfer target and Lamine’s close friend, in Nico Williams.

And such efforts, evidently, did not go at all unappreciated on the part of Barca’s explosive young wide-man.

After Koundé took to Instagram to celebrate his side’s 2nd win from two to open the campaign, Lamine responded, by writing:

‘Best rb (right-back) in the world rn (right now)’
