Landlady pleads for return of rare Leeds United Stuart Dallas flag | OneFootball

A landlady is appealing for the return of a rare Leeds United flag featuring Stuart Dallas, stolen from her city centre pub.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the item was taken from the Moot Hall Arms’ Wall of Greats at the start of June and is one of only five produced in Dallas’ hometown.

Claire, the landlady, described how it had hung in the rear room among memorabilia built up by regulars. Printed by a local firm and brought over from Ireland by a customer, it cannot simply be replaced and the donor was gutted.

CCTV shows a man entering while the pub was open, telling staff he only wanted to check the cricket score. He then unclipped the flag, hid it in his trousers and left.

Police have circulated the footage in a CCTV appeal and enquiries are ongoing. Officers received a report at around 10pm on Wednesday 3 June that a flag was taken from the Moot Hall Arms on Mill Hill, Leeds. Claire does not want a witch-hunt, her focus is getting the flag back. Supporters and staff are disheartened given the pub’s work with Leeds fans, the community and charity, and she has urged anyone who has seen it to return it.
