Late Leeds own goal gifts Fulham all three points

It was hardly a classic game but Fulham earned their first win of the season after a bizarre late own goal.

Indeed, there were few chances to talk about throughout much of the game that look destined to end as a bore draw.

Home fans did get to see their new signing though with exciting Brazilian Kevin coming on for his debut with 15 minutes left to play.

The winning goal was unexpected and unfortunately comical for Daniel Farke's side. In the fourth minute of stoppage time Leeds United were defending a corner from the right that was whipped in and then seemed to bounce off the head of Gabriel Gudmundsson and into Karl Darlow's net with the goalkeeper having no chance of stopping it.

Gudmundsson could likely not have finished better if he tried but his bad luck resulted in Fulham moving up to 10th in the league after their first win of the season while Leeds sit in 14th place.
