Liverpool have made a second bid for Yan Diomande, and it’s now over to PSG to see if they’re willing to stay in the race for the winger.

Bild in Germany are today claiming that Liverpool have returned with a second offer for Yan Diomande, the RB Leipzig winger who took the Bundesliga by storm this year and has been linked with PSG as well as the Reds.

The German paper says that Liverpool have made a bid worth €116m for Diomande – but Leipzig have rejected it. They’re hoping that PSG interest ramps up the price even more.

This is not a priority move for PSG, who have plenty of attacking options already. And the last thing they want to do is get dragged into a bidding war with Liverpool, who are clearly willing to do whatever it will take to get their man.

Diomande looks a sensational talent and is apparently a PSG fan, who would favour a move to the French capital. There’s a lot in favour of this move – but at that price, it still might not be wise.

Khephren Thuram has been linked with PSG a few times over the years but nothing has come of it. The links are back this week – but we maintain it’s hard to see a deal being done without a sale in midfield.

Julian Alvarez was a PSG target at the start of the summer – if things continue to go downhill with Atletico, he could come back onto the radar again later.
