Lautaro Martínez hits 171 goals, joins Inter’s all-time top scorers

Lautaro Martínez continues to leave his mark at Inter. The Argentine scored in the 5-0 thrashing of Sassuolo, away from home, and reached 171 goals wearing the Nerazzurri shirt—a historic figure for the club.

The Toro’s goal came five minutes into the second half, making it 3-0 for Christian Chivu’s team, and allowed him to equal Roberto Boninsegna’s record, becoming the third highest scorer in Inter’s history. Only Giuseppe Meazza (284) and Alessandro Altobelli (209) have more.
