Lautaro rues Santos’ lack of cutting edge in Grêmio draw

Santos drew 1-1 with Grêmio on Wednesday night, in the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship. Lautaro Díaz, who scored the goal for Santos in the final stretch of the match, lamented the lack of effectiveness of the team from São Paulo in the attack.

"We could have turned it around. The team is playing well, we are managing to finish well. It was the same thing that happened in the last game. It's hard like this," he said to Premiere.

With the result, Santos continues to hover near the relegation zone. The team of Juan Pablo Vojvoda is in 16th place, with 28 points, five more than Juventude, who opens the Z4. The difference to the first in the relegation zone, however, could decrease if Vitória (18th, with 22 points) overcomes Ceará, at home, this Thursday.
