Lazio ‘closing in on’ Noah Markmann as centre-back talks advance | OneFootball

Lazio are nearing a deal for FC Nordsjaelland centre-back Noah Markmann, with negotiations said to be at an advanced stage.

According to The Laziali, the clubs are discussing a package worth about seven million euros including bonuses, and the 19-year-old is open to joining his countrymen Gustav Isaksen and Oliver Provstgaard in Rome.

The defence is being overhauled. Mario Gila has been sold to AC Milan, while Alessio Romagnoli remains a possible departure after his move to Al-Sadd stalled. Danilho Doekhi has arrived as a free agent following his exit from Union Berlin, but another centre-back is required.

Sergi Dominguez has been the leading target for over a month, yet no agreement has been reached with Dinamo Zagreb. With the Spaniard involved in Champions League qualifiers, those talks are on hold.

Markmann is a Nordsjaelland academy product who stepped up to the first team in summer 2024 at 17. He made 21 appearances across all competitions last season, and his contract runs until June 2027. A final agreement has not yet been signed.
