Lazio’s Curva Nord have escalated their protest against president Claudio Lotito, saying in a statement they will boycott season tickets and all home matches, league and Coppa Italia, in 2026/27, except the two derbies with Roma.
The communiqué deepens a dispute that ran through last season, with the ultras citing 22 years of what they call mismanagement, disrespect and broken promises under Lotito. They also plan to attend every away fixture and both derbies.
Other actions include cancelling subscriptions to broadcasters carrying Lazio matches and urging a boycott of sponsors and commercial partners tied to the current ownership.
On the pitch, they point to two consecutive seasons without European football as evidence of what they view as inadequate investment. They also decry the removal of Lazio-linked staff and the hiring of figures they say lack affinity with the club, including a head of communications they describe as an openly declared Roma supporter.
The group further questions the Stadio Flaminio project, challenging Lotito’s financial claims and warning a build could be used to delay spending on the squad. New head coach Gennaro Gattuso is warmly welcomed, with the protest stressed as being directed at ownership, not the players or coaching staff.
