Lazio running out of time as Bournemouth close in on Alex Toth

Lazio must act quickly if they still want Alex Toth, with Bournemouth pushing to complete a deal.

Sky Sport Italia reports Lazio have offered €10 million plus add-ons, but Bournemouth have made a more lucrative proposal.

The Biancocelesti have been busy this month, securing left-footed midfielder Kenneth Taylor. They still want a right-footed box-to-box option after Matteo Guendouzi joined Fenerbahce last week.

Sporting director Angelo Fabiani identified Toth as the priority and struck a personal agreement with the player’s entourage. Failure to reach terms with Ferencvaros has left space for Bournemouth to advance.

Whether Lazio now raise their bid to overtake the Premier League side in the coming hours, or switch targets, remains open.

Bologna youngster Giovanni Fabbian could be next on Fabiani’s shortlist if they turn elsewhere.
