Lazio are expected to bring in a new No 10, with Gennaro Gattuso and sporting director Angelo Fabiani favouring different profiles.
Il Messaggero reports that Gattuso is a keen admirer of Luka Stojkovic, the 22-year-old Croatian after a standout season for Dinamo Zagreb with 13 goals and 12 assists in 41 games, contributing to a domestic double. Gattuso knows Croatian football after coaching Hajduk Split in 2024/25.
Fabiani, meanwhile, is understood to have reached an agreement with the entourage of Jonathan Asp Jensen, 20, who is owned by Bayern Munich. The Dane is ready to join after an impressive loan at Grasshoppers, but Lazio must still agree terms with Bayern.
Lazio are expected to spend €4 million, with Bayern pushing for a significant sell-on clause that could reach 50 per cent. The Aquile would prefer to keep that percentage lower.
Since Luis Alberto left in summer 2024, Lazio have lacked a natural attacking midfielder. Under Marco Baroni, Boulaye Dia played off Taty Castellanos and looked more comfortable there than as a centre-forward, so he could be an option.
Tijjani Noslin and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru can also operate in the role, but adding a specialist No 10 remains the priority.
