Barcelona fans can expect a bold new look next season, as reports from Footy Headlines suggest the club’s third kit for 2025-26 will feature a striking orange design.
Nike, Barcelona’s kit manufacturer, has chosen orange as the primary colour for this jersey, with accent details yet to be confirmed.
While the exact shade of the accent is unknown, possibilities include a deep blue or black, both of which would provide a strong contrast to the bright orange.
The return of an orange kit marks a nostalgic moment for Barça supporters, as it harks back to the 2014-15 season.
That year, Barcelona’s orange away kit became iconic, not just for its colour but for its connection to a historic treble-winning season. The team dominated La Liga, claimed victory in the UEFA Champions League, and lifted the Copa del Rey.
For fans, the orange kit of that era carries memories of Barcelona at their peak, playing some of the best football the club has ever seen. Prior to this, the last time orange was used in a third kit was during the 2007-08 season.
The upcoming third kit will feature a design inspired by Nike’s renowned Total 90 collection, known for its distinctive styling. Fans can look forward to seeing this fresh kit hit the shelves by July or August 2025, just in time for the new season’s kickoff.
In addition to the orange third kit, Nike has also put a unique twist on the home and away jerseys for the 2025-26 season.
The home kit will retain the classic vertical red and deep blue stripes but with a gradual blending effect towards the centre, creating a modern look on a traditional design.
For the away kit, reports indicate that Barcelona will go with a bold gold colour. Moving away from darker tones, this vibrant gold shade will offer a brighter, more eye-catching option for fans and players alike.
