Rafael Leao seems increasingly destined to leave Milan after the team’s failure to qualify for the 2026-27 edition of the Champions League, and the Portugal international has gone on to reveal which Premier League sides are his ‘favourite’ heading into the summer transfer window.
Leao is a former Scudetto and Serie A MVP winner and has scored 80 competitive goals across his seven seasons with the Rossoneri. But, following a difficult 2025-26 campaign in which he and his teammates missed out on Champions League qualification, despite having spent much of the season in second place, he looks increasingly likely to leave.
There have been suggestions that the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea or even Barcelona could be interested in a summer deal should Leao become available. Recent reports claim that he has no desire to move to either Galatasaray or Fenerbahce, or to the Saudi Pro League despite rumoured interest.

While speculation over Leao’s future continues to circulate, the attacker has sat down for an interview with the Cernucci Podcast and has spoken about his favourite Premier League sides.
“Yeah of course,” he replied when asked if he watches much of the Premier League.
And when asked which are his favourite teams, Leao laughed before replying: “I like (Manchester) United because my idol is Cristiano Ronaldo, so back then, I used to watch them.”
He continued: “I like Arsenal also.”
The full interview will be released on Sunday.
