Leeds United host Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday, with suspension and injuries shaping both squads. Gabriel Gudmundsson is banned after his red card at Crystal Palace last time out.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds drew 0-0 at Selhurst Park and played the second half with 10 men. Referee Thomas Bramall appeared to overlook Gudmundsson’s first booking before showing a second yellow, prompting the dismissal.

Leeds are otherwise in relatively good health, while Brentford have multiple absentees. Fabio Carvalho is out for the season following anterior cruciate ligament surgery in November.

Antoni Milambo also underwent ACL surgery in November and will not feature again this season. Josh Dasilva is on the comeback trail after ACL surgery and two further operations late last season, back in some first-team training but still being carefully managed.

Rico Henry is set to miss numerous weeks with a hamstring injury, with no imminent return expected. Aaron Hickey suffered a hamstring issue against Brighton last month and is expected to be out until after the international break.

Vitaly Janelt is another confirmed absentee for the weekend, with a metatarsal problem likely keeping him out until after the international break. Brentford must navigate those losses on their trip to Leeds.
