Leeds United are in talks with Fiorentina over Jack Harrison’s potential January exit. According to Leeds Live, negotiations are under way and a deal is viewed as likely this month.
Discussions are not yet complete, with the proposed move expected to be a loan including an option to buy. Figures have not been finalised.
In Florence there is an expectation the transfer will be formalised soon, and some at the Italian club regard it as a formality.
Earlier this month Daniel Farke said he did not want to lose players, but accepted the situation could change if someone asked to leave.
Harrison has made only one Premier League appearance since November. He played the full 90 minutes in Sunday’s FA Cup tie at Derby County, his third Leeds start of the season.
The winger, who has also filled in on the left of defence, has made 13 appearances in all competitions, 11 in the league, and has logged just 263 league minutes.
Harrison spent the past two seasons on loan at Everton and is under contract at Leeds until 2028. If this move progresses, he could link up with former Leeds loanee Manor Solomon at Fiorentina following the Israeli’s switch from Villarreal.
