Lisansdru Olmeta (20) is the subject of interest from Premier League side Leeds United, according to a report from L’Équipe.
Olmeta joined Ligue 2 side SC Bastia on loan from Lille OSC at the start of the season. He has yet to play a game for the Corsican club, who are winless and bottom of the table, since joining. However, he escaped that negative context at Bastia in recent weeks by playing for France at the U20 World Cup.
In Chile, Olmeta impressed for Les Bleuets. Highly rated when he was coming through the ranks at AS Monaco and the son of another famous French goalkeeper, Pascal, the tournament could prove to be something of a springboard for Lisandru’s career.
As per L’Équipe, Leeds United have already made contact with the goalkeeper’s entourage, as have Italian side Parma. It remains to be seen what Lille’s stance on a potential sale would be.
