Leeds United can now turn to their second season back in the Premier League after finishing 14th, eight points clear, despite a final-day 3-0 loss at relegated West Ham. Survival was sealed with three games remaining and the 2025-26 campaign ended only two weeks ago.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the summer schedule begins with the World Cup kick-off on Thursday, 11 June, Mexico v South Africa at 8pm. Noah Okafor is the first Leeds player due in action on Saturday, 13 June as Switzerland face Qatar at 8pm, with Brenden Aaronson for the USA, Gabi Gudmundsson for Sweden and Ao Tanaka for Japan also involved.

The summer transfer window opens on Wednesday, 14 June.

Premier League fixtures are released at 10am on Friday, 19 June.

The World Cup final is on Sunday, 19 July.

Pre-season begins in America on Sunday, 25 July when Leeds face Wrexham at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

The second friendly follows on Friday, 30 July against Sunderland at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
