Leeds United head into their second season back in the Premier League with a busy summer of key dates covering the World Cup, transfers, fixtures and friendlies.

Daniel Farke’s side clinched safety with three games to spare and finished 14th, eight points clear, despite a final-day 3-0 defeat at relegated West Ham. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the summer and early-season schedule is set as follows.

The World Cup begins on Thursday, June 11 with Mexico v South Africa at 8pm. Noah Okafor is the first Leeds player involved on Saturday, June 13 when Switzerland face Qatar at 8pm. Brenden Aaronson, Gabi Gudmundsson and Ao Tanaka are also involved.

The summer transfer window opens on Wednesday, June 14. Premier League fixtures are released on Friday, June 19 at 10am. The World Cup final is on Sunday, July 19.

Pre-season in America starts on Sunday, July 25 as Leeds face Wrexham at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The tour continues on Friday, July 30 against Sunderland at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
