Daniel Farke faces a pivotal summer as Leeds near safety on 40 points after a five-game unbeaten run. Planning for 2026/27 has begun, with additions targeted across the pitch.
According to Leeds Live, around £100m could be spent again, but not on a single £40-50m signing.
In goal, Karl Darlow’s deal expires, Illan Meslier is set to leave and Lucas Perri could follow, so at least one new keeper is likely. Shakhtar Donetsk’s Dmytro Riznyk is among those linked.
At centre-back, Santiago Bueno, 27, is admired and could cost around £13m. Union Berlin’s Danilho Doekhi, 27, is out of contract after two ever-present seasons. Any arrivals may affect Joe Rodon, while Sam Byram is nearing the end of his deal.
Midfield needs experience and width, especially if Largie Ramazani makes his Valencia loan permanent. Sporting CP’s Hidemasa Morita is linked, his deal ends this summer and, at 30, it could be his last Premier League chance.
Leeds are monitoring Harvey Elliott after an unusual Aston Villa loan, with Liverpool likely to sell. A £35m clause went unused, so his price will probably drop. Sam Chambers may benefit from a loan.
Up front, Joel Piroe will probably leave, Facundo Buonanotte is unlikely to stay and Brenden Aaronson could move on. Feyenoord’s Ayase Ueda has 26 goals this season and, at around £13m, looks attainable before any World Cup lift.
