Leeds United are scouring late-window options to shore up a survival push, sitting eight points above the drop with 16 matches left.
The January window is the final chance to add before season's end. Facundo Buonanotte has arrived on loan from Brighton and was among the substitutes for Daniel Farke in the win over Fulham last weekend. Football Insider reports that Leeds have made an approach to Derby County for striker Patrick Agyemang, with Crystal Palace also in the frame.
Agyemang, formerly of Charlotte FC, has 10 goal contributions for the Rams this season, seven goals and three assists. He could give Farke another option up front.
Leeds have been exploring extra firepower despite summer signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin impressing. There were reports earlier this month of interest in Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Meanwhile, Bild claims Cologne are interested in defender Sebastiaan Bornauw returning to Germany. The 26-year-old has started only two matches since his summer move and is said to be frustrated, with the report adding Leeds might seek a replacement before sanctioning any exit this month.
Cologne sporting director Thomas Kessler has said the market can shift late, that some targets may be kept by their clubs and others could receive more minutes, so they will watch closely over the next two weeks.
