Leeds United host Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday night in a pivotal Premier League fixture. Victory would move Daniel Farke’s side six points clear of the relegation zone until at least Sunday afternoon, when West Ham visit Aston Villa.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Noah Okafor has trained all week after hamstring and hip issues, giving Farke a timely boost. Gabriel Gudmundsson is suspended following his controversial red card at Crystal Palace last weekend, and there are no other injury-related absences.

Here is how Leeds could line up, starting with Karl Darlow in goal. He produced a superb save to deny Jefferson Lerma before a disallowed offside rebound, and has steadied the ship in recent weeks.

Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk are among the defensive options. Rodon, in his hybrid role, could push higher after being pinned back last weekend, and his recovery pace would help against a counter-attacking opponent. Bijol settled after a shaky first half on his return to the XI and may need to match the physicality of 19-goal Igor Thiago, while Struijk defended well and is still awaiting his first goal of the season.

Jayden Bogle could return at right wing-back after impressing off the bench last weekend. Given circumstances elsewhere, he is expected to start and, if Leeds see more of the ball, he should have greater licence to influence the final third.
