Leeds United sell Jack Harrison to New England Revolution after eight years at Elland Road | OneFootball

Jack Harrison has left Leeds United permanently for New England Revolution, ending his eight-year Elland Road stay.

According to Leeds Live, the fee is undisclosed and is thought to be minimal, while his 219 appearances are the most of any current squad member and place him 41st on the club’s all-time list.

Initially a 2018 loanee, he joined permanently from Manchester City in 2021 for £11m.

He started all 46 Championship matches in the 2019/20 promotion season and scored 34 goals for Leeds, including a stoppage-time winner at Brentford on the final day in 2021/22 that secured a third straight Premier League season.

Relations with some supporters soured after he activated a clause to leave on loan during the Championship campaign, spending 2023 to 2025 at Everton.

Daniel Farke sought to reintegrate him, but pre-season boos prefaced limited minutes despite some encouraging cameos.

He managed one Premier League start in 13 outings across all competitions, with single starts in the FA Cup and League Cup, before a January loan to Fiorentina.

He made 22 appearances in Italy, recording one goal and three assists, but Fiorentina declined to trigger a £6m buy-out clause.

Harrison now heads for a second MLS stint after 55 games for New York City in 2016 and 2017 before joining Manchester City in January 2018.
