Leeds United are close to signing Tarik Muharemovic, with Harry Wilson already in as a free agent after leaving Fulham. The 49ers Enterprises era enters a fourth summer window, with Muharemovic in West Yorkshire finalising a £34m switch from Sassuolo.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, that backdrop prompted a review of every arrival under the 49ers. Across three full windows the hit-rate has been high, aided by last season’s 14th-place finish, though there have been misses and one Elland Road favourite earning 10/10.

Lucas Perri is rated 5/10 after a £16m move last summer, struggling before being dropped and unlikely to become first choice soon. Karl Darlow gets 8/10, a £400,000 bargain in July 2023 who twice stepped in, first for Illan Meslier then ahead of Perri. Leeds wanted him to stay, but his Old Trafford move was confirmed on Tuesday.

Alex Cairns is 5/10, yet to play since joining from League Two Salford City in 2024, though Daniel Farke values his presence. Djed Spence receives 3/10, his 2023 loan from Tottenham yielding only seven games before Leeds cut it short the following January. He has since shown signs of recovery in North London.

Connor Roberts earns 4/10 after replacing Spence in January 2024, competing with Archie Gray, starting only two Championship matches and missing time through injury, though he remained a useful option. Jayden Bogle takes 9/10, shaking off a sticky start to excel last season, thriving as a wing-back and making a £5m fee look smart.
