Leeds United teenager Jayden Lienou has earned his first senior Wales call-up after Craig Bellamy drafted him in for friendlies against Ghana and Romania next week.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the 18-year-old joined from Manchester City’s Academy last summer and impressed for the club’s under-21s.

He progressed to the fringes of the first team towards the end of the Premier League campaign.

He was an unused substitute for the season-ending matches against Brighton and Tottenham.

Already capped by Wales at up to under-19 level, he plays as a full back.
