Leeds United TV changes for Brentford and Newcastle, Monday date could still move | OneFootball

The Premier League confirmed broadcast changes to Leeds United’s early schedule, with Brentford moved to 2pm on Sunday 30 August and Newcastle United set for 8pm on Monday 14 September, both on Sky Sports. The latter remains subject to change.

Brentford is Leeds’ second Elland Road match of 2026/27. Kick-off is 2pm on Sunday 30 August. It coincides with Leeds Festival at Bramham Park from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August and forms part of a televised triple-header alongside Chelsea v Brighton and Sunderland v Fulham.

September begins with a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion. As with Nottingham Forest on the opening weekend, it stays a Saturday 3pm start.

Newcastle’s visit to Elland Road is pencilled in for 8pm on Monday 14 September, the first home game under the lights this season. The date and time could still change.

Should either Leeds or Newcastle reach the Carabao Cup third round and be drawn against a club in the Champions League, the fixture would move to 12.30pm on Saturday 12 September. Five Premier League teams will compete in Europe’s top competition.

The Carabao Cup second round, when Leeds enter, is scheduled for the week commencing 24 August. With the draw likely after those ties, any alteration to the Newcastle game could come with around two weeks’ notice.
