Leeds United begin their pre-season tour of the United States on July 25 against Wrexham in Tampa, Florida. Sunderland and Liverpool are also on the schedule.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke might be without World Cup participants Gabriel Gudmundsson, Ao Tanaka, Brenden Aaronson and Noah Okafor as they take a break. Leeds are expected to announce the signing of Harry Wilson shortly and his debut could come against Wrexham.

With Lucas Perri the sole senior goalkeeper currently contracted, he might be Farke’s only option unless an agreement is reached with Karl Darlow.

Joe Rodon leads a strong Welsh contingent after an excellent 2025/26 and is entering his fourth year at Leeds. Sebastiaan Bornauw, who did not make Belgium’s World Cup squad that has reached the quarter-finals and has been on holiday in Thailand, should be fresh to compete for a centre-back spot.

Jaka Bijol might start on the left of a back three, covering the £20m, Brighton-bound Pascal Struijk vacancy. With no left-footed central defenders available, Bijol looks the most comfortable on that side.

On the right, Jayden Bogle should return from a well-earned break after being virtually ever-present last season. With England’s right-back issues under scrutiny, it feels like another strong Leeds campaign could keep him in the picture.
