Leeds United have reshaped their squad with 11 departures and two major signings already, with four and a half weeks until the Premier League season begins. The overhaul leaves Daniel Farke working with a new-look group.

United start their second season back in the top flight away to Nottingham Forest, a 3pm kick-off at the City Ground on Saturday, August 22. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, they fly to the United States this week for friendlies against Wrexham, Sunderland and Liverpool.

Confirmed exits include Isaac Schmidt, sold to Young Boys for an undisclosed fee in the region of £2m, and Pascal Struijk, who has joined Brighton for £18m plus £2m in potential add-ons.

Goalkeepers Karl Darlow and Illan Meslier have left on free transfers after their contracts expired, moving to Manchester United and Arsenal respectively.

Facundo Buonanotte has returned to parent club Brighton after his loan, while Connor Douglas has departed at the end of his deal.
