Leeds United will be without Gabriel Gudmundsson and Noah Okafor for Monday night’s Premier League visit to relegation-threatened Tottenham at Tottenham Stadium, with Pascal Struijk a doubt.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, assistant manager Edmund Riemer, standing in for the ill Daniel Farke, confirmed Gudmundsson will miss the game and be monitored day by day.
Gudmundsson sustained a hamstring problem late in the FA Cup semi-final and subsequently sat out the 3-1 win over Burnley at Elland Road.
Okafor has a calf strain and will miss the next two matches, with hope he will be available for the final game. The issue was picked up after the FA Cup tie in his right calf, having pulled the left calf against Burnley.
Struijk took a knock in training this week, suffered a hip contusion and skipped Friday’s full session. He is training individually and the staff hope he will be available.
Leeds are on 43 points heading into the weekend and could be mathematically safe on Sunday if Arsenal beat West Ham United.
