Abdul Fatawu is absent from Gary Rowett’s first Leicester City line-up at Stoke, with only two changes named.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, the winger missed last weekend’s trip to Southampton as a knee precaution, though he trained this week. At the bet365 Stadium, Jeremy Monga starts on the right and Victor Kristiansen replaces Luke Thomas at left-back.

There is no Jordan Ayew in the squad for City either, taking the absentee list to nine and narrowing options in places.

Ben Nelson and Caleb Okoli partner at centre-back with Jamaal Lascelles still sidelined. Asmir Begovic is preferred to Jakub Stolarczyk in goal, and Ricardo Pereira captains from right-back.

Harry Winks and Oliver Skipp form the deeper midfield pairing. Joe Aribo is available again after missing the clashes with Southampton but is among the substitutes.

Divine Mukasa plays as the attacking midfielder, with Monga and Stephy Mavididi out wide and Patson Daka up front.

City line-up in a 4-2-3-1: Begovic, Ricardo, Okoli, Nelson, Kristiansen, Winks, Skipp, Monga, Mukasa, Mavididi, Daka.

Subs: Stolarczyk, Aluko, Gray, L Thomas, Aribo, Page, Marcal, Richards, S Thomas.
