The opinions continue to flow into The Mag, as Newcastle United fans debate the various issues regarding our club.
A number of different issues/subjects covered.
Always plenty to talk about with NUFC.
Newcastle United fans with the latest collection of opinions below.
Contributions are sometimes too brief to make up into a full article and so we have gathered up a number of recent views sent in, (if you would like to send anything in, long or short, regarding Newcastle United, then contribute@themag.co.uk is the place):
Dear Mag,
What a brilliant article (Newcastle United fans wanting Eddie Howe sacked need to be careful what they wish for) from David Walsh about Eddie Howe.
We long-term supporters know the pain and suffering of some of the managers who were dumped on us because they were cheap to hire and fire.
In all fairness some did a good job and some were useless.
I managed to get a ticket on the week Sir Bobby Robson was sacked and we were playing Blackburn Rovers and our soon to be new manager Graham Souness.
The point I want to make, we sacked a top manager to make a few supporters happy and we went downhill from there.

Dear Mag,
How sad that some people can revel in other people’s misfortune with Alexander Isak.
To lady Jane may the shoe not be on the other foot.

May you enjoy many matches as a Newcastle fan and may Nick Woltemade go on to be one of the greats and may Alexander Isak always learn stay humble, be happy at liverpool and score many memeroble goals.
Dear Mag,
I think the club at heart are suffering the aftermath of Isak’s actions and deep down affected what is going on at present.
I think they need to get their heads right and realise that they can still win and go places without him.
Get back to what they do best, probably stop thinking who’s going to score the goals now.
Perhaps a heart to heart talk with each other and lay out their thoughts.

Dear Mag,
Having followed Newcastle for years from Nova Scotia, Canada, this season so far is discouraging.
After spending so much on strikers, we either have those who cannot play through injury, or the big one who doesn’t seem to have the expected characteristics of a ‘striker’
Since Joelinton was originally bought for this role, and subsequently transformed into an exciting midfielder, is it not worth considering restoring him as a striker…
His powerful presence, great feet, good shot, good head, quickness, sharp reactions; and strength, seems to suggest, why not?
At this time give it a try.
Nothing to lose as we already have competent midfielders and Joelinton would certainly be a disturbing game changer at the front.
Please pass on this advice to powers that be.
A faithful Geordie fan

Dear Mag,
Burnley fan here.
There are very few social clubs still left round here but Foulridge (nine miles from Turf Moor) has survived after 100 years, and even makes a profit thanks to two hard-working directors who’ve been running it for the last 11/12 years.
So … I managed to persuade an LUFC fan group here from Harrogate before our game, and given the direction of travel from Newcastle, thought I should try again for your game.
The club could handle 50/60 away fans, and even the arrival of just one mini-bus would be great, for the atmosphere … and the bar takings.
Anything you wish to know just ask. If you hear of a fan group heading this way on the 30th, I’d be happy to discuss how a visit can work with them.
Cheers

Dear Mag,
It was my birthday recently and this was definitely the icing on the top of my birthday cake!

Dear Mag,
Hi there,
I’d be very interested to know what the Stats are for when Trippier starts a game.
It seems to me that his presence instils a harder working and more disciplined squad than when he’s not there.
I adore Bruno but he shouldn’t have got himself so many yellow cards, which he seems to do when he gets frustrated.
Have these stats been pulled before please?
Thank you Amanda Carey
Dear Mag,
Bored with this slagging off Steve Bruce.
You won’t feel any better for it and will not make a jot of difference.
The treatment he got from our fans and the press was not acceptable.
Sadly he was not up to the job when he was manager, move on and embrace our present situation and wonderful player Steve, the great player he was, did not have the same success as a manager fact.
Enjoy the present and stop being so bitter with childish comments about the Amanda Staveley statement because if he did recommend Eddie Howe we should be bloody thankful.
