Sky Germany reports that Bayer Leverkusen are preparing to activate an €eight million buyback clause for 18-year-old striker Kerim Alajbegovic, who is currently at Red Bull Salzburg.
The forward only moved permanently to Salzburg last summer for a reported fee of around two to two point five million euros, signing a long-term deal through 2029.

A swift return to Germany this summer now appears increasingly likely.
Even so, his longer-term destination is unclear, with leading clubs in Italy understood to have expressed interest.
Alajbegovic has delivered 11 goals and three assists in all competitions this season.
