After Kylian Mbappé's two-goal show in Real Madrid's comeback win over Leganés on Saturday, Robert Lewandowski restored both Barcelona's lead in the LaLiga title race, and his lead in the hunt for the Pichichi trophy.
The Polish legend struck twice in the second half to seal the points for Los Cules after Girona had threatened to upset their illustrious neighbours with an equaliser.
The two goals were both expertly taken as we've come to expect, and move him three clear of his French scoring rival in the race for the golden boot.
It also brought up 25 league goals for the season, two more than in the entirety of the 2022/23 season when he previously won the scoring title in his debut campaign in Catalonia.
With 38 in the books in all competitions, how many more might Lewandowski have before the end of the season as Barça chase a third treble?
