Liam Rosenior leads Strasbourg training amid Chelsea links, press conference at 14:00

Linked with the Chelsea job after Enzo Maresca’s removal on Thursday, Liam Rosenior led Strasbourg’s training on Friday morning and will speak at 14:00 before facing Nice on Saturday at 19:00.

According to L'Équipe, Rosenior has been cited as the favourite to succeed Maresca, and Friday’s session was held behind closed doors.

His news conference is expected to be dominated by questions over a possible mid-season move to the flagship club of the BlueCo group.

Before it becomes clear whether the Côte d'Azur fixture will be Rosenior’s last, Strasbourg are trying to carry on as normal.

No concrete preparations are understood to have been launched, though Rosenior is said to have met president Marc Keller and sporting director David Weir on Friday.
